Room Temperature Storage
Sourdough bread is best enjoyed within 2–3 days of pickup.
- Store your loaf cut side down on a cutting board or wrapped in a cloth or paper
bag. - Avoid storing sourdough in the refrigerator, as it can dry out the bread.
- If using a plastic bag, keep it loosely sealed to prevent moisture buildup.
Freezing Your Sourdough
Sourdough freezes beautifully and is a great way to extend freshness.
- Allow the bread to cool completely if it has been warmed.
- Slice the loaf and place parchment paper in-between each slice before
freezing so you can remove individual slices. - Wrap tightly in plastic wrap or place in a freezer-safe bag.
- Freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheating From Frozen
- Remove slices as needed and toast directly from the freezer.
- Let the loaf thaw at room temperature and warm in a 350°F oven for 8–10 minutes for that fresh-baked crust.
Our sourdough is naturally fermented and made fresh each week in small batches.
